FROM MS. OLGA

Here are my renders so far, I'm still working on them.

Kaffeehaus Rendering

All it needs are some people enjoying coffee and some sharply dressed waiters walking around (do Kaffeehauses have waiters?) Was thinking of putting part of the bar in the foreground as well.

Crystals and Reese's Puffs

The makerbot is such a sensitive Sally. Model working and rendering...

Here are images of the re-model 3d print... tried to print it support-free so there are some hiccups and it printed sharper than I wanted, but otherwise, it worked out okay.

Happy Turkey Day!!!!

OLD POST

interior

still not clear, but give the sense of the interior space. I just wonder should we need to model the chair and table or just photoshop them for the cafe space?

Large Render Final Test

I increased the size of the glass components and smoothed them for better readability.

Remote desktopping all over the place

Final large render in progress...
I'm rendering it in a muted black, then will render again quickly with a more reflective material and overlay using a gradient. gobble gobble y'all

Also, I have a bag of 100 crystals.

Big Render Final Test

I added a few more floors and made the facade set back a bit in space to create a bit more nuanced vertical movement to the mass. The central form at the base is the cafe entrance.

long rendering test

I will re-render this one and add more elements into the rendering: road, sky, people, trees

set on the ground

Still rendering right side windows. Need a lot more photoshop about  streets work with forms.

test building materials 2

I tried different metal materials, & feel first materials is working good for my building. ALso I try another materials which is more white facade (at the end of this post)

Interior Rendering- towards plaza

I haven't found a good image showing the plaza at the right angle, so right now it's just sky.

building materials

I am still choosing different materials for my building, and feel the light metal materials will be better for my building? any suggestions for choosing building materials?

Thanks

Plaster Casts of 3D Prints are Successful!

Plan updates

Here's the kaffehaus plan with the beginnings of the openings which look into the club underneath.

For the main plan, the furniture has been adjusted to fit the language of the components.

Model coming together...!

reference,, new plans

here are some references I feel they are most relative to my project. and I think the folding chair is the best because it has openings and wood frame to represent the privacy and the degree of opening.

As I started new formation (it still looks similar) so I use the new model to draw the plans for the lobby, typical and top floors, and I am still working on it but I still keep the same architectural language to do it.

Budding Ornament

Here are some photos of the first two pieces of my 3d printed facade for the site model. When using meshmixer to structure the components the structure left a residue of these budding type pieces connected to my components. While unintended I think creates an interesting structural ornament on the facade that was generated purely because of the original geometry. It is also interesting when comparing this to Rococo frames which have literal plant and flower budding ornament.
